<title>Use an on-screen keyboard</title>
<p>If you do not have a keyboard attached to your computer or prefer not to
use it, you can turn on the <em>on-screen keyboard</em> to enter text.</p>

<p>The on-screen keyboard is automatically enabled if you use a
touchscreen</p>

<p>Abra la vista de <gui xref="shell-terminology">Actividades</gui> y asegúrese de que está en la vista de <gui>Acceso universal</gui>.</p>

<p>Pulse en <gui>Acceso universal</gui> para abrir el panel.</p>

<p>Cuando tenga que volver a escribir, el teclado en pantalla aparecerá en la parte inferior de la pantalla.</p>
<p>Pulse el botón <gui style="bottom">123</gui> para escribir números y símbolos. Hay más símbolos disponibles si pulsa el botón <gui>{#*</gui>. Para volver al teclado alfabético, pulse el botón <gui>Abc</gui>.</p>
<p>You can press the

icon to hide the keyboard temporarily. The keyboard will show again
automatically when you next press on something where you can use it. To make
the keyboard show again, open the <link xref="shell-notifications">message
tray</link> (by moving your mouse to the bottom of the screen), and press the
keyboard icon.</p>
