<title>Eliminar una cuenta de usuario</title>
<p>Puede <link xref="user-add">añadir varias cuentas de usuario a su equipo</link>. Si alguien no va a volver a usar su equipo, puede eliminar esa cuenta de usuario.</p>
<p>Necesita <link xref="user-admin-explain">privilegios de administrador</link> para eliminar cuentas de usuario.</p>

<p>Abra la vista de <gui xref="shell-terminology">Actividades</gui> y empiece a escribir <gui>Usuarios</gui>.</p>

<p>Pulse en <gui>Usuarios</gui> para abrir el panel.</p>
</item>

<p>Pulse <gui style="button">Desbloquear</gui> en la esquina superior derecha e introduzca su contraseña cuando se le pida.</p>

<p>Seleccione el usuario que quiere eliminar y pulse el botón <gui style="button">-</gui>, debajo de la lista de cuentas de la izquierda, para eliminar esa cuenta de usuario.</p>

<p>Each user has their own home folder for their files and settings. You
can choose to keep or delete the user's home folder. Click <gui>Delete
Files</gui> if you are sure they will not be used anymore and you need to
free up disk space. These files are permanently deleted. They cannot be
recovered. You may want to back up the files to an external drive or CD
before deleting them.</p>
