<title>Kết nối mạng VPN</title>

<p>VPN (hay <em>Virtual Private Network</em>, mạng riêng ảo) là cách kết nối mạng cục bộ qua Internet. Ví dụ, giả sử bạn muốn kết nối mạng cục bộ ở công ty khi bạn đang đi công tác. Bạn cần tìm một điểm kết nối Internet (ví dụ trong khách sạng) và kết nối đến VPN của công ty mình. Nó giống như làm việc trong công ty, nhưng kết nối mạng thực sự chạy qua đường kết nối Internet của khách sạn. Kết nối VPN thường được <em>mã hoá</em> để tránh người khác truy cập mạng cục bộ bạn đang kết nối.</p>

<p>Có một số loại VPN khác nhau. Bạn có thể cần cài đặt thêm phần mềm, tuỳ loại VPN bạn cần dùng. <p>Khi đã xong, bạn có thể thiết lập kết nối VPN:</p>

      <p>Open the <gui xref="shell-terminology">Activities</gui> overview and
      start typing <gui>Network</gui>.</p>

      <p>Click on <gui>Network</gui> to open the control center.</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>At the bottom of the list on the left, click the <gui>+</gui> button
      to add a new connection.</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>Choose <gui>VPN</gui> in the interface list.</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>Choose which kind of VPN connection you have.</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>Fill in the VPN connection details, then press <gui>Add</gui> once you
      are finished.</p>

      <p>When you have finished setting-up the VPN, click the system status
      area on the top bar, click <gui>VPN</gui> and select the connection you
      just created. You may need to enter a password for the connection before
      it is established. Once the connection is made, you will see a lock
      shaped icon in the top bar.</p>

      <p>Hopefully you will successfully connect to the VPN. If not, you may
      need to double-check the VPN settings you entered. You can do this from
      the <gui>Network</gui> panel that you used to create the connection,
      select the VPN connection from the list, then press the button in the
      bottom right corner of the panel.</p>

      <p>To disconnect from the VPN, click the system status area on the top
      bar and click <gui>Turn Off</gui> under the name of your VPN
      connection.</p>
