#!I0 #!N #!N #!I0 #!N #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* Function: #!EF #!I50 #!N Specifies
the separation between records. #!N #!I0 #!N #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* Use: #!EF #!I50
#!N Optional. This keyword applies only to record and record-vector interleaving.
#!I0 #!N #!N #!N #!N #!I0 #!N Notes: #!N #!I30 #!N
1. With differences to be noted here, the specification of separation
is very much like that of the #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* header #!EF keyword
(see #!Lhdrkwd,dxall147 h header #!EL ). #!N #!I30 #!N 2. If all records are
separated by the same amount, a single separator value should be
specified. For example, if each pair of successive records is separated
by two lines, then #!CForestGreen #!N #!N #!F-adobe-courier-bold-r-normal--18* #!N recordseparator =
lines 2 #!EF #!N #!N #!EC #!N #!I30 #!N 3. If
the records are separated by different amounts, a value must be
specified for each of the separators: #!N #!I0 #!N #!F-adobe-times-medium-r-normal--18* #!N
#!N #!I30 #!N o For record-vector data the number of separator
values must equal the number of #!F-adobe-times-medium-i-normal--18* fields #!EF minus one.
For example, if #!CForestGreen #!N #!N #!F-adobe-courier-bold-r-normal--18* #!N structure = scalar,
scalar, 2-vector #!EF #!N #!N #!EC then two separator values must
be specified: one between the two scalar fields and one between
the second scalar field and the vector field. #!N #!I30 #!N
o For record data, the number of separator values must equal
the number of #!F-adobe-times-medium-i-normal--18* dimensions #!EF minus one. For the preceding
example, three separator values must be specified: the first between the
two scalar fields; the second between the second scalar and the
first vector component; and the third between the two vector components.
