#!N #!Rtall312 Changing the Look-to Point, Look-from Point, and the Up
Vector #!N #!N #!N You can adjust your view of the
image by specifying values for these settings: #!N #!I0 #!N #!N
#!I0 #!N #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* look-to point vector #!EF #!I50 #!N The point
around which the displayed image is centered. The point is specified
as a vector in world coordinates. #!N #!I0 #!N #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* look-from
point vector #!EF #!I50 #!N The position of the camera. The
point is specified as a vector in world coordinates. #!N #!I0
#!N #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* up vector #!EF #!I50 #!N The rotation (tilt) of
the camera. Only the direction of this vector is important, not
the magnitude. For instance, if you are looking at the object
from a positive #!F-adobe-times-medium-i-normal--18* z #!EF direction, an up vector with
a negative value for #!F-adobe-times-medium-i-normal--18* x #!EF tilts the camera counterclockwise.
#!I0 #!N #!N #!N #!N The option box near the center
of the #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* View Control... #!EF dialog box (displaying #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* To:
#!EF by default and in #!Lcamset58,dxall310 f Figure 58 #!EL ) allows you to select
the vector values to be displayed. #!N #!N To change the
value of one of the vectors, do the following: #!N #!I0
#!N #!F-adobe-times-medium-r-normal--18* #!N #!N #!I30 #!N 1. Select the vector to
change using the option box. The choices in the option menu
are #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* To #!EF , #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* From #!EF , and #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18*
Up #!EF . The current values for the vector you choose
are displayed in the X, Y, and Z fields to the
right of the options. #!N #!I30 #!N 2. Change each field
to the new value. Do this by clicking on the field,
typing in the new number, and pressing the enter key. #!N
#!I30 #!N 3. Repeat these steps for each vector you want
to change. #!N #!I0 #!N #!EF #!N #!N #!N Remember, to
see the results of your changes, you must specify #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* Execute
#!EF or #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18* Execute on Change #!EF . #!N #!N #!N
