<p><em>This command begins the definition part.</em>
</p>
<p>Limbo text is material that <small>FWEAVE</small> should output before
the start of the first section.

For example,

<p>Note that ‘<samp>\\</samp>’ stands for a backslash. In general, characters must be
escaped just as in C [so that one can include things like ‘<samp>\n</samp>’
(newline) in the definitions].

<p>Limbo text may also be typed directly into the limbo section; in that
case, no escapes are necessary since one is typing ordinary TeX text.
Sometimes, however, the ‘<samp>@l</samp>’ command is useful for pedagogical
purposes, as the limbo material can then be defined at the point where
the logical discussion is made.
