Curses input routines. This is only a rough summary. See the curses(3)
manual page or a curses tutorial of your choice for further information.
CURS:FLUSHINP drains all pending keyboard input, so any characters
typed ahead will never be delivered.
CURS:GETCH fetches the next key from the keyboard queue and delivers
its keycode. Keycode mostly correspond to ASCII codes. When in keypad
mode (see CURS:KEYPAD), CURS:GETCH may return special codes for some
keys that do not have an ASCII code, like the arrow keys for moving
the cursor. The following special keycode constants exist:
CURS:KEY-BACKSPACE
CURS:KEY-UP
CURS:KEY-DOWN
CURS:KEY-LEFT
CURS:KEY-RIGHT
CURS:KEY-HOME
CURS:KEY-PPAGE
CURS:KEY-NPAGE
Before reading the keyboard queue, CURS:GETCH commits all pending
writes to the scrren by calling CURS:REFRESH and also synchronizes
the hardware cursor with the virtual cursor. CURS:GETCH blocks unless
nodelay mode (see CURS:NODELAY) has been activated. In nodelay mode
CURS:GETCH returns #F when there are no characters in the keyboard
queue.
CURS:INCH returns the character found on the current (virtual)
position on the virtual screen.
CURS:GETYX returns a list containing the current virtual cursor
position in the format (Y X).
CURS:LINES returns the number of lines in the screen.
CURS:COLS returns the number of columns in the screen.
CURS:MVGETCH moves the cursor to the specified position and then
performs a GETCH operation.
CURS:MVINCH returns the character found on row INTEGER_Y, column
INTEGER_X of the virtual screen.
CURS:UNCTRL converts an unreadable character to a readable
representation. For instance, it returns "^[" for the ESC
character.
CURS:UNGETCH puts a keycode back to the keyboard queue so that
a subsequent call to CURS:GETCH or CURS:MVGETCH will deliver it.
