which test "inmidas -P" as asynchronous, parallel tasks
1) copy doit.prg, midcheck and midasparallel to the working dir., e.g. ~/tmp
make them executable
2) edit doit.prg to use an image which is in ~/tmp
if you do this after the usual Midas verification, the image used
for plotting is image_M12c.fits which is already there,
otherwise choose an image in the working dir.
3) by default midasparallel loops (invokes Midas) 15 times
edit the script if you want less
4) by default midcheck launches 10 parallel Midas sessions,
edit the script if you want less
the shell command "lockfile" must exist on the host system to make these
scripts work...
