<title>Switch layer</title>
<p>Most layouts of the <app>Onboard</app> on-screen keyboard have more than one layer of keys. This way, it is possible to save screen space by putting the most used keys on one layer and other, less often used keys, on other layers.</p>
<p>It is the designer of the layout that decides how many layers he wants to use in the layout.</p>
<p>Every layout has <key>buttons</key> on all layers to allow the user to switch between them.</p>
