<p>When using bash as your shell, <code class="docutils literal"><span class="pre">pytest</span></code> can use argcomplete
(<a class="reference external" href="https://argcomplete.readthedocs.io/">https://argcomplete.readthedocs.io/</a>) for auto-completion.
For this <code class="docutils literal"><span class="pre">argcomplete</span></code> needs to be installed <strong>and</strong> enabled.</p>
<p>Install argcomplete using:</p>
