<p>PyWavelets utilizes <code class="docutils literal"><span class="pre">NumPy</span></code> under the hood. That’s why handling the data
containing <code class="docutils literal"><span class="pre">None</span></code> values can be surprising. <code class="docutils literal"><span class="pre">None</span></code> values are converted to
‘not a number’ (<code class="docutils literal"><span class="pre">numpy.NaN</span></code>) values:</p>
