  <title>Character Map</title>

  <p>Le greffon <app>Table de caractères</app> vous permet d'insérer dans votre document des caractères qui ne sont pas faciles à saisir en utilisant votre clavier. Pour activer ce greffon, choisissez <guiseq><gui>gedit</gui><gui>Préférences</gui><gui>Greffons</gui><gui>Table de caractères</gui></guiseq>.</p>

  <title>Utilisation de la table de caractères</title>

  <p>Once the plugin is enabled, you can add characters from the
  <gui style="tab">Character Map</gui> tab of the side panel
  (<guiseq><gui>View</gui><gui>Side Panel</gui></guiseq>).</p>
  
  <steps>

      <p>Déplacez le curseur dans votre document là où vous voulez insérer le caractère spécial.</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>Ouvrez le <app>panneau latéral</app> en choisissant <guiseq><gui>Affichage</gui> <gui>Panneau latéral</gui></guiseq> ou appuyant la touche <key>F9</key>.</p>

    <item>
      <p>Select the <gui>Character Map</gui> tab in the side panel.</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>If necessary, choose the character set to which your character
      belongs from the list at the top of the <gui style="tab">Character
      Map</gui> tab (for example, Arabic).</p>
    </item>
    <item>
      <p>Faites un double-clic sur le caractère souhaité pour l'insérer.</p>
    </item>
