<title>Upload photos to <app>Flickr</app></title>
<p><em>Flickr</em> is a photo album service that lets you share pictures with
people online. You can upload photos to Flickr directly from the image
viewer.</p>
<p>In order to be able to use the <app>Flickr Uploader</app>, you will
need to install the <app>Postr</app> application using your Linux
distribution's <app>package manager</app>. Once it is installed, you can
upload photos to Flickr:</p>

<p>The first time you upload a photo, the <app>Flickr Uploader</app> will
ask you to log into Flickr. The website will ask you to authorize
<app>Postr</app> to access your account.</p>

<p>Back in the image viewer, click <guiseq><gui>Image</gui><gui>Open
With</gui><gui>Flickr Uploader</gui></guiseq>.</p>

<title>Add a <gui>Tools</gui> menu item</title>
<p>You can add a shortcut button for uploading pictures to Flickr.</p>
<p>To do this, make sure that <link xref="plugins">eog-plugins</link> is
installed. Then, click <guiseq><gui>Edit</gui><gui>Preferences</gui></guiseq>,
go to the <gui>Plugins</gui> tab and check <gui>Upload to Flickr</gui>.</p>
<p>This will give you a convenient <guiseq><gui>Tools</gui><gui>Upload to
Flickr</gui></guiseq> menu item.</p>
