<p>As in any programming language, it is good practice to include comments in PyXPlot command scripts to explain what each command or block of commands is doing. Comment lines should begin with a hash character, as in the example<a name="a0000000319" id="a0000000319"></a><a name="a0000000320" id="a0000000320"></a> </p><pre>
# This is a comment
</pre><p>Comments may also be placed on the same line as commands, as in the example </p><pre>
set nokey # I'll have no key on _my_ plot
</pre><p>In both cases, all of the characters following the hash character are ignored. </p></div>
