</pre><p>The <tt class="tt">help</tt> command<a name="a0000001037" id="a0000001037"></a> provides an hierarchical source of information which is supplementary to this Users’ Guide. To obtain information on any particular topic, type <tt class="tt">help</tt> followed by the name of the topic, as in the following example </p><pre>

</pre><p>which provides information on PyXPlot’s commands. Some topics have sub-topics; these are listed at the end of each help page. To view them, add further words to the end of the help request, as in the example: </p><pre>

</pre><p>Information is arranged with general information about PyXPlot under the heading <tt class="tt">about</tt> and information about PyXPlot’s commands under <tt class="tt">commands</tt>. Information about the format that input datafiles should take can be found under <tt class="tt">datafile</tt>. Other categories are self-explanatory. </p><p>To exit any help page, press the <tt class="tt">q</tt> key. </p></div>
