-   Convert a C pointer to a FORTRAN pointer

<DD>Given a C pointer, this function returns the equivalent FORTRAN
      pointer of type F77_POINTER_TYPE. Note that this conversion is
      only performed if the C pointer has originally been registered
      (using 
     <A HREF="node184.html#cnfRegp"><TT>cnfRegp</TT></A>)
      for use from both C and FORTRAN. All pointers
      to space allocated by 
     <A HREF="node155.html#cnfCalloc"><TT>cnfCalloc</TT></A> 
      and 
     <A HREF="node183.html#cnfMalloc"><TT>cnfMalloc</TT></A>
      are
      automatically registered in this way.
