Of course, you need to download all <acronym title="Operating System">OS</acronym> version needed of FreeDiams.
Let's assume that you need all the <acronym title="Operating System">OS</acronym> version running from a unique USB
Key with shared datas. There are two ways to store your personnal
datas with FreeDiams : SQLite local files or MySQL external database.

You should format the key in FAT32 format. This format is recognized by all the <acronym title="Operating System">OS</acronym>.
</p>

Create a directory tree like:

<li class="level1"><div class="li"> FreeDiams for MacOS : DMG format. Store the dmg file on the USB Key.</div>

<li class="level1"><div class="li"> FreeDiams for Linux (zipped binary package) : do not download the .deb file or the .rpm. Store</div>

Unzip and copy packages to the <acronym title="Operating System">OS</acronym> representative path. Copy the MacOS FreeDiams application to
its USB Key folder.

The USB Key configuration file does only contains the path to config.ini to use
(and the resources path). <strong>It must stand just next the FreeDiams executable whatever is the
<acronym title="Operating System">OS</acronym></strong>.

Create for each packages a file called <em>pathtoconfig.ini</em> and write inside the path to the
shared \e config.ini. Use relative path.
