FreeDiams interface is cutted into three main areas :
</p>
<ul>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> one part dedicated to the <strong>patient's datas</strong> (1 and 2)</div>

<li class="level1"><div class="li"> one part dedicated to the <strong>drugs database searching and viewing</strong> (3 and 4)</div>

<li class="level1"><div class="li"> the <strong>prescription</strong> itself (5 and 6)</div>

<h2><a name="patient_s_datas" id="patient_s_datas">Patient's datas</a></h2>

<p>
Every patient is defined by a series of data available directly or indirectly. The only data
accessible is the name of the patient (1). Other data may be informed by clicking
button located next to the input area of the patient's name (2). <br/>
The following data may be informed by the command line (\ref ligne_commandes) and / or user:
</p>
<ul>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> weight in kilograms</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> date of birth (formatted like your <acronym title="Operating System">OS</acronym>)</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> size in centimeters</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> sex (M, F or H - H for Hermaphrodism)</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> the creatinine clearance in milliliters per minute</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> creatinine in milligrams / liter</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> list of drug allergies (in DCI, separated by a semicolon).</div>

FreeDiams allows at the completion of standard dosages define limits
limitation on weight, creatinine clearance and soon the body surface (see
Chapter ad hoc). These data will be analyzed when prescribing. <br/>
The inclusion of these data is scheduled for a later version of this software.

<h2><a name="drugs_searching_area" id="drugs_searching_area">Drugs searching area</a></h2>

The search's text box (3) includes three buttons:

<li class="level1"><div class="li"> with the left you can change the search criteria</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> the right one presents the history of your research,</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> the one outside the input box to the right can be used to prescribe “textually”.</div>

Below the list of drugs in the database. You can quickly identify drugs
for which you have written and save a dosage, the background color to appear slightly
different. This color can be changed in the application preferences.
