Description: live-debconfig: System Configuration

Template: live-debconfig/procps/net.ipv4.ip_forward

Description: live-debconfig: enable ipv4.ip_forward?
IP forwarding also known as routing is a functions for forwarding packets
between interfaces, which lets the computer act as a firewall, or router.
 .
Note that this is an important variable for Network Address Translation,
firewalling, routing, masquerading, and all other things where actually
packets are let through the computer to another network.
 .
On normal systems there should be no need for IP forwarding to be turned on.
However, on the host system that e.g. runs Linux Containers (LXC) connected
through a bridge, IP forwarding needs to be enabled.
 .
 The default value is no.

Template: live-debconfig/procps/vm.swappiness
Type: string
Default:
Description: live-debconfig: set vm.swappiness?
Swappiness is a kernel property to change the balance between swapping out
runtime memory and dropping pages from the system page cache.
 .
Swappiness can be set to values between 0 and 100 inclusive.
 .
A low value means the kernel will try to avoid swapping as much as possible
where a higher value instead will make the kernel aggressively try to use
 swap space.
 .
 The default value is 60.
