<h3 class="section">2.4 Multiple ABIs</h3>

<p>A given platform may provide multiple different ABIs at once.  For
instance, the x86 platform has both &lsquo;<samp>stdcall</samp>&rsquo; and &lsquo;<samp>fastcall</samp>&rsquo;
functions.
</p>
<p><code>libffi</code> provides some support for this.  However, this is
necessarily platform-specific.
