<p>The EchoClient example implements a <a href="qml-qtwebsockets-websocket.html">WebSocket</a> client that sends a message to a <a href="qml-qtwebsockets-websocket.html">WebSocket</a> server and dumps the answer that it gets back. This example should ideally be used with the EchoServer example.</p>

<p>We start by connecting to the `connected()` signal.</p>
